A dream that started in Vélez-Málaga

The history of our dental clinic begins in Vélez-Málaga, when Dr. José Acosta, one of the first dentists in the area, arrived from his native Granada with a dream: to practise his profession in a coastal and welcoming environment.
When he discovered Vélez, he fell in love with the town, its people and the sea. He was happy in his practice, working on what he was most passionate about and building relationships with his patients. His dedication and commitment earned him the trust of generation after generation.
Today, we are treating the fourth generation of many families, and that fills us with pride and gratitude.

His daughter, Dr. Lourdes Acosta Medina grew up admiring her vocation. She always asked him for advice, and he would repeat one piece of advice that is now our motto:

Don't do to others what you wouldn't want done to you

Training, experience and passion

Dr. Lourdes studied medicine and specialised in orthodontics, training with leading experts in the United States.
Dr. Fernando Fernández, her partner in life and in her profession, discovered his vocation in medicine and later in dentistry, specialising in prosthetics and implants, and becoming a pioneer in Andalusia.
The two met in the Dominican Republic, married in Spain and completed their training in Argentina, at a time when postgraduate courses were scarce here. Upon their return, they founded our clinic in Malaga, which has been offering friendly, high-quality care for over 35 years.
At the same time, they continued with the family practice in Vélez-Málaga, keeping alive a tradition that spans more than six decades.

Third generation continues the legacy

Dr. María Hilaria Fernández Acosta followed in her parents’ footsteps and has been practising in Paris for over eight years.
More recently, Dr. After several years in Madrid, Marta Fernández Acosta has returned to the best of Malaga life to continue the family legacy.
She specialises in paediatric dentistry and general dentistry, and her energy, passion and people skills win over both her youngest patients and those who were treated by their parents.
